Green Gear Alliance: The industry initiative for collecting and processing workwear, safety footwear, and other PPE
As of March 18, the Circular Footwear Alliance (CFA) will merge with several other collection initiatives, expanding its scope to include workwear and other PPE.
The CFA will continue under the new name: Green Gear Alliance (GGA). This collaboration is a major step toward a more sustainable future and a simplified collection process.
Important: Until the official launch in March, the CFA will continue to only accept collection boxes containing safety footwear!

Insight into impact
Yes! You will get insight into your collected kilos via a personal dashboard. The data will be updated after our sorter has received your return shipment.
Processing of collected products
The collected products are picked up by DHL. They are then taken to a sorting center, where the products are sorted into different streams. The GGA works with recycling partner FastFeetGrinded, who processes the shoes, and a textile and plastic recycler. The products are recycled as high-quality as possible with current technology.
